PITTSBURGH—LeSean McCoy, one of the most dazzling running backs in Pitt history who went on to become an All-Pro performer in the NFL, will serve as keynote speaker at the 2022 Pitt Football Kickoff Luncheon presented by Huntington on August 26.
McCoy will join Coach Pat Narduzzi, Director of Athletics Heather Lyke and the 2022 Pitt football senior class at the Kickoff Luncheon, which will be held at the Westin Pittsburgh.

Tickets for the 2022 Pitt Football Kickoff Luncheon are $60. A table of 10 costs $550, while a table with a Pitt head coach is $800. To reserve a seat or table, click here. Doors open at 11 a.m., followed by lunch and the formal program at 11:30 a.m.
McCoy rushed for 2,816 yards and 35 touchdowns in his two spectacular seasons at Pitt (2007-08). "Shady" saved perhaps his finest performances for rival West Virginia, churning out 148 yards in the Panthers' 13-9 upset in 2007 and 183 yards and two TDs in a come-from-behind 19-15 victory in 2008.
Selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2009 NFL Draft, McCoy quickly established himself as one of the most productive backs in the game. During the 2010 decade, he led all NFL rushers with 10,434 yards and ran for 69 touchdowns. He was the 2013 NFL rushing champion with 1,607 yards.
McCoy retired from the NFL following the 2020 season as a six-time Pro Bowler, two-time All-Pro and two-time Super Bowl champion (2019 with the Kansas City Chiefs and 2020 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers).
Pitt football season tickets, which start at just $180, are currently on sale at PittsburghPanthers.com. For pricing, seating maps, season ticket holder benefits and more, click here or call (800) 643-7488.
