GREENSBORO, N.C. – Pitt lacrosse graduate transfer Paige Petty and freshmen Jill Fenech and Dylana Williams have been named to the 2022 Women's Lacrosse All-ACC Academic Team, as announced by the conference Tuesday afternoon.
This marks the third time in her career that Petty has received the academic recognition. Fenech and Williams add their second postseason honor each, as both were named to the All-ACC Freshman Team following the 2022 season.
Petty played her extra year with the Panthers while working towards her master's degree in management. She was named a USA Lacrosse Magazine Honorable Mention All-American and made the All-ACC and IWLCA All-West/Midwest Region Second Teams after leading Pitt in goals (43), points (54) and draw controls (71).
Fenech had an eventful and impressive freshman year, serving as the Panthers primary draw-taker. The Ontario, Canada native earned her spot on the conference all-freshman team after making 14 starts and recording 64 draw controls, one assist, seven ground balls and four caused turnovers. Fenech plans to major in marketing.
Williams, the second freshman recognized by the league, also joined the Panthers from Ontario. She played in 18 of 19 games in 2022 and added seven goals, three assists (10 points), four ground balls, one caused turnover and eight draw controls. Williams will be majoring in health services and is poised for a breakout sophomore season.

Minimum academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team, which is done by the league office.
The ACC Honor Roll, which recognizes all conference student-athletes with a grade point average of 3.0 for the current academic year, will be released in July.
