PITTSBURGH – Fans can secure Pitt Basketball tickets for the 2022-23 season with the Panthers Ticket Office accepting season ticket renewals and new season tickets going on sale now. Games against traditional rivals West Virginia, Louisville, and Syracuse as well as a contest against 2021 NCAA Tournament runner-up North Carolina highlight the Panthers' upcoming home schedule.
Pitt has made several adjustments throughout the Petersen Events Center to enhance the gameday experience for the 2022-23 season. Among the changes are a full move to mobile ticketing as well as Panther Club membership and benefits for all season ticket holders. Pitt has also continued to invest in the premium experience on gameday, adding new pricing options to lower-level club seating, exclusive courtside club concessions and hospitality, and a complete renovation of the Campus View Club scheduled to begin in May.
The Panthers' roster for the 2022-23 season will be anchored by 2021 Honorable Mention All-ACC forward John Hugley (14.8 ppg., 7.9 rpg.) as well as a trio of 1,000-point scorers in the backcourt. Pittsburgh-area native Nelly Cummings (1,112 career points) joins returnees Jamarius Burton (1,003) and Nike Sibande (1,560) to give Pitt an experienced guard trio that has combined for 3,675 points and 422 three-point field goals in their careers.
Wing prospects William Jeffress (3.4 ppg., 3.3 rpg.) and Nate Santos (2.8 ppg.) also return for the Panthers after both players spent some time in the starting rotation last season.
Pitt has added veteran forward Blake Hinson (9.1 ppg. in 60 games at Ole Miss), JUCO center Fede Federiko (11.7 ppg., 8.6 rpg.), and top-100 prep school standouts and twin brothers Guillermo Diaz Graham (6-11) and Jorge Diaz Graham (6-10) during the spring. The Panthers have three open scholarships remaining
