
Pitt To Host Petersen Events Center Football Watch Party Following Pitt-UNC Game Dec. 30

PITTSBURGH – Pitt Athletics will host a watch party for the Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl gridiron matchup between Pitt and UCLA following the Panthers ACC home opener on the hardwood against North Carolina Friday, Dec. 30. The Pitt men's basketball team tips off against the Tar Heels at noon, while the football team kicks off its bowl game at 2 p.m.
Fans attending the basketball game will have the opportunity to remain at the Petersen Events Center to watch the Pitt-UCLA football game in duration. Fans with Campus View Club access will be permitted to watch the football game there, while Courtside Club ticket holders will have the option to view the game from the courtside suite or move the Campus View Club.
The Pitt-UCLA football game will also be shown on the center hug video board, on all concourse TVs, and on the video board in the Thomas E. Richards Family Lobby.
Food and alcohol sales will continue throughout the basketball game and then until the end of the third quarter of the bowl game.
Pitt enters the Dec. 30 hardwood matchup 9-4 overall and atop the ACC standings with a 2-0 conference record. The Panthers have ACC road wins over NC State (68-60) and Syracuse (84-82) in the early part of conference play. Tickets are available for purchase HERE.
