PITTSBURGH—A member of the University of Pittsburgh wrestling team garnered a weekly conference honor for the second consecutive week when James Lledo was named ACC Wrestler of the Week by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.
After Nino Bonaccorsi was honored by the ACC last week, Lledo received the recognition following his dominant performance on Sunday to win the Mat Town Open individual title at 184 pounds.

Competing at Lock Haven University, Lledo pinned three opponents and won another bout by forfeit on his way to a perfect 4-0 tournament to bring home the Mat Town Open trophy in his weight class.
A redshirt sophomore from Lower Merion, Pa., Lledo has displayed a penchant for pinning throughout his Pitt career, earning the team's Mayor of Pinzburgh honor as a freshman.
That continued this weekend with his three falls over opponents from Virginia, Lock Haven and Binghamton en route to an open tournament title.
Keith Gavin's Pitt squad, coming off an upset of No. 13 Lehigh last time out at Fitzgerald Field House, will look to build on that performance when the No. 17 Panthers (2-1) travel to Illinois this Saturday.
Pitt will meet the Fighting Illini (1-1) from the Big Ten in Champaign at 4 p.m.
