Reed Named ACC Diver of the Week

PITTSBURGH – University of Pittsburgh senior diver Dylan Reed has been named men's ACC Diver of the Week; the conference announced Tuesday afternoon.
Reed earns the weekly honor after picking up three first place finishes in the 1-meter (408.75), 3-meter (395.93), and platform (367.80) events against George Washington. The USA Diving team member qualified for NCAA Diving Zones in all three events, while setting a new personal record in the 1-meter (408.75).
Pitt sophomore diver Jess Vega also earned the women's ACC Diver of the Week honor for her performance against George Washington. This is the second weekly league honor for Reed and the first for Vega.

Reed and the Panthers are back in action, Nov. 17-19, for the Ohio State Invitational in Columbus, Ohio. The Pitt men's and women's swimming teams will continue the George Washington meet this weekend as the Panthers host the Colonials at Trees Pool, Nov. 18-19.
