PITTSBURGH – The University of Pittsburgh men's and women's diving team swept George Washington on day one of dual meet on Friday evening with several strong performances.
"Tonight was a very solid start for both our men's & women's team," said head diving coach Katie Kasprzak. "A lot of the divers still have harder dives to master before competing them, but to get so many zone cuts this early in the season is great. As we move into championship season, the divers will start competing harder dives and we will see their scores increase."
Tonight, five Panthers earned their NCAA Zone Cuts: Dylan Reed (367.80), Cameron Cash (357.00), Jackson Salisbury (334.80), Joshua Parquet (328.05), and Jess Vega (263.10). Senior Dylan Reed and sophomore Jess Vega secure the winning places for their team.
