Feibusch to Compete for Spot on Puerto Rican National Team

PITTSBURGH – University of Pittsburgh midfielder Kiara Feibusch will be at Florida Polytechnic University this weekend, January 6-9, to attend the Puerto Rican National Team training camp in preparation for the 2022 World Lacrosse Women's World Championship.
"It's an honor and the opportunity of a lifetime to be a part of the Senior Women's National Lacrosse Team," said Feibusch. "Competing with this team means the world to my family. We get to represent the whole island and uphold the heritage that makes us who we are. ¡Yo soy Boricua, pa'que tu lo sepas!"
Puerto Rico will be one of thirty nations competing at the 2022 championships. This includes Australia, Canada, and the United States each of whom have had fellow Panthers in training. Feibusch joins Abby Thorne, Head Coach Emily Boissonneault, and Paige Petty as those who have trained with their National teams in the lead up to this summer's tournament.
The 2022 Women's World Championship will be played in Towson, Md., June 29-July 9.
