PITTSBURGH – Pitt continues to enhance the fan experience at the Petersen Events Center with the creation of the IC Light Baseline Club, a premium party deck with all the amenities for individuals as well as small groups to have an awesome gameday experience.
"The IC Light Baseline Club is a professional venue-style premium space designed to enable a great social experience, while enjoying the excitement of high-level college basketball," said Christian Spears, University of Pittsburgh Deputy Athletic Director. "The club will be a terrific space for young alumni, particularly former Oakland Zoo members, along with other groups of young professionals to engage and reconnect with the college basketball experience. The membership model creates a great price point to allow a wide range of fans to take advantage of all the great amenities and exclusive offerings that will be available in the IC Light Baseline Club."
The IC Light Baseline Club, located in the open concourse space below the end zone scoreboards, will operate on an exclusive membership model with a set monthly fee. This exclusive pub-style area will feature a built-in modern bar featuring sponsor IC Light products along with a full complement of beverages, brewery-style communal tables as well as seated counter tops overlooking the court. This premium space, with a total capacity of 500, will also feature an exclusive food menu with specialty pub options not available throughout the rest of the arena. In addition, the club will open two hours prior to tip-off and will have a dedicated entrance at Concourse A.
Pitt has partnered with FanRally to offer subscription memberships to the IC Light Baseline Club. Subscribers will have the opportunity to reserve seats and general admission passes to the Club for any Pitt home game. In addition to other benefits, fans in the IC Light Baseline Club will have access to unique t-shirt and rally towel giveaways, and special raffles throughout the season. Members will manage all benefits within the Pitt mobile app.
Memberships in the IC Light Baseline Club are limited. Interested parties can sign up to receive additional information on the IC Light Baseline Club HERE.
In addition to the new IC Light Baseline Club, additional club spaces such as the Platinum Club and Campus View Club will undergo renovations and enhancements prior to the start of the 2021-22 basketball season.
The Panthers host Duke, Virginia, Louisville, Syracuse, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Notre Dame, NC State, Miami and Boston College in conference play along with non-conference matchups with Vanderbilt (Nov. 24) and Minnesota (Nov. 30) in an ACC/Big Ten Challenge contest. Pitt's full 2021-22 schedule will be announced in the fall.
Season tickets for Pitt Basketball are also on sale through the Panther Ticket Office.
