
Three Panthers Earn Podium Spots at Quad Meet

Beckwith, Chamberlain, Liszewski Place for Pitt
BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – Three Panthers reached the podium as the Pitt gymnastics team (5-7-1) placed third in a quad meet hosted by LIU (0-1) alongside New Hampshire (6-3) and Towson (10-8) Sunday evening at Pratt Recreation Center.
Towson claimed the team win with a score of 195.175, followed by New Hampshire in second place (194.900). Pitt came in third (194.050), ahead of the host Sharks (191.825).
Sophomore Lauren Beckwith was runner-up in the all-around standings with a career-best score of 38.875. Junior Katie Chamberlain's balance beam score of 9.850 was good for third place overall, and sophomore Emily Liszewski placed third on vault at 9.800.
BEAM
Chamberlain led the Panthers in Pitt's first event by tying her career high of 9.850 on beam, good for third place overall. Beckwith followed with a 9.825, then Katrina Coca at 9.700. Junior Kiley Robatin and freshman Trinity Macy rounded out top scores with a 9.650 and 9.625, respectively. Pitt earned a team score of 48.650 to kick off the quad meet.
FLOOR
Pitt's second event of the day concluded with a team score of 48.525, led by senior Jordan Ceccarini with a 9.775. Beckwith and junior Olivia Miller each produced scores of 9.750, and Macy contributed a 9.675. Sophomore Emily Liszewski completed scoring with a 9.575. Through two events, Pitt totaled 97.125.
VAULT
Liszewski had the top vault score for Pitt with a 9.800, good for third place in the final standings. The junior pair of Chamberlain and Miller followed with a 9.775 and 9.750, respectively. Coca and Chamberlain each contributed a 9.650, with Coca's score marking a season high. Pitt's vault total was 48.625, bringing its three-event score to 145.800.
BARS
To complete the meet, Chamberlain led Pitt with a 9.825 on bars. Macy's 9.725 was second for Pitt, followed by Miller (9.700) and Beckwith (9.650). Coca earned a 9.350 to finish the rotation. Pitt ended the quad meet with a 48.250 team score, finishing with a 194.050, marking its highest score since Feb. 14.
ALL-AROUND
Beckwith earned a career-high all-around score of 38.875 to take second place in the meet. Miller finished with a 38.500, taking fourth place.
UP NEXT
Pitt will return home for the first of a three-meet series against West Virginia, starting Friday, March 5, at 7 p.m. ET at Fitzgerald Field House. The meet will be streamed on ESPN3.
