PITTSBURGH – Single game tickets for the Pitt men's basketball 2021-22 Atlantic Coast Conference contests are now on sale through the Panthers Ticket Office.
Fans are now able to secure single game tickets for nine of the Panthers' 10 home ACC contests this season, with the March 1 regular season finale against Duke only available through season tickets, mini plan and I.C. Light Baseline Club membership offers at this time.
Pitt opens its home conference schedule with a Tuesday, Dec. 28 matchup with Notre Dame (8 p.m.) before hosting a strong January set of games against Boston College (Jan. 9 – 4 p.m.), Louisville (Jan. 15 – 4 p.m.), Virginia (Jan. 19 – 9 p.m.) and Syracuse (Jan. 25 – 8 p.m.). The Panthers welcome Virginia Tech (Feb. 5 – 7 p.m.), NC State (Feb. 12 – 3 p.m.), Georgia Tech (Feb. 19 – 7 p.m.) and Miami (Feb. 22 – 8 p.m.) to the Petersen Events Center in February.
Pitt's regular season home finale against Duke (March 1 – 8 p.m.) will mark Hall of Fame head coach Mike Krzyzewski's last trip to the Pete as he is set to retire at the conclusion of the 2021-22 season. The Panthers have toppled Coach K-led Duke teams at the Pete twice, including a 79-73 win over the Blue Devils last season.
The Panthers open conference play with a road game at Virginia Friday, Dec. 3. Sophomore John Hugley leads the team in scoring (15.9 ppg.) and rebounds (8.1 rpg.), while shooting 50.6 percent (40-of-79) from the field. Femi Odukale, a sophomore guard, is also averaging double figures at 12.1 points per game with classmate William Jeffress contributing 6.3 points and 6.1 rebounds per contest. The sophomore trio has started all seven games as Pitt has had four underclassmen in the starting lineup for six of seven games this season.
