PITTSBURGH – Bring your tailgate experience home during the 2020 college football season with Take Pitt to the House: The Exclusive Home Tailgate Experience offered to you through the collaborative efforts of Pitt Athletics and Tailgate Guys. The Gold package includes 43" high-def smart TV setup inclusive of Dish Service with the ACC Network, a Pitt-branded tent (9'x9'), Pitt-branded portable tailgate table (8'), Pitt cooler tote, Pitt ring toss game, Pitt personalized Sarris' chocolates and Pitt script yard sign along with home delivery and installation.
Customers purchasing this package will keep the Pitt-branded tent, Pitt-branded portable tailgate table, cooler tote and Pitt ring toss game to cheer on the Panthers throughout the year. Take Pitt to the House tailgate experiences are available beginning Sept. 19 when the Panthers face Syracuse in a noon kickoff on the ACC Network.
"As ESPN and the ACC continue to work at expanding the ACC Network footprint, we wanted to offer a home tailgate experience that includes the ACCN via our partnership with Tailgate Guys," said Deputy Athletic Director Christian Spears. "'Take Pitt to the House' will allow our fans to set up a great tailgate experience at their residence, receive and retain some unique Pitt-branded items and then watch the game on the ACCN with Tailgate Guys TVs and Dish Network Services. Now that we know fans are not permitted through at least September, and our first ACC conference game only being available on the ACCN, we hope this will be a well-received option for our fans. I would encourage people to sign up for this soon. We have a limited supply of the Pitt-branded items and we believe this will sell out."
Additional items available for purchase include 120 quart coolers, tables with linens (6'), cocktail tables, tailgate chairs, and sanitation kit (paper towels, hand sanitizers, wipes, and koozies). Base package pricing starts at $950.
Reserve your tailgate today as quantities are limited and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Packages can be purchased directly by contacting Tailgate Guys at pitt@tailgateguys.com or online via TailgateGuys.com. Packages are available to homes within a 30-mile radius of Heinz Field.
Pitt opened the season with an impressive 55-0 win over Austin Peay Saturday at Heinz Field. The Panthers scored six rushing touchdowns in the contest and out-gained the Governors, 456-136. The Panthers open conference play Sept. 19 against Syracuse at Heinz Field with a noon kickoff airing on ACCN.
