Phillippi Earns No. 4 Seed for Second Consecutive Season
INDIANAPOLIS – Pitt's seven NCAA qualifiers learned their seeds and first round opponents Wednesday evening as the NCAA released brackets for the 2020 Wrestling Championships.
The 2020 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships are set for Thursday, March 19 – Saturday, March 21 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minn.
For the second consecutive season, redshirt sophomore Micky Phillippi earned the No. 4 seed at 133 pounds. Senior Demetrius Thomas is the No. 7 seed entering the Championships after previously earning the No. 8 seed a year ago in his NCAA debut.
