Igbokwe, Champagnie Named Office Depot/Supra Student-Athletes of the Week

Women’s, Men’s Basketball Student-Athletes Honored
PITTSBURGH – Rita Igbokwe of women's basketball and Justin Champagnie of men's basketball were named the Office Depot/Supra Student-Athletes of the Week following impressive performances in their respective sports.
Igbokwe finished her best game of the season Sunday against Delaware with her first double-double of the season and second of her career. The Jonesboro, Ga., native posted 11 points and a season-high 11 rebounds while going an efficient 4-for-6 from the floor and 3-for-4 from the charity stripe. For the season, the sophomore center is averaging a career-high 6.7 points and 6.7 rebounds while also collecting a team-high five blocks.
Champagnie recorded a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds in 27 minutes of action in an 89-59 win over Northern Illinois. The sophomore forward went 8-of-13 from the field, including 4-of-6 from three-point range, and added three assists (no turnovers) and two steals in the contest. Pitt recorded an assist on 26 of 30 made field goals and made 14 three-point field goals, tied for second most in program history, in the win.
