Panthers Draft Rosters for Blue-Gold Spring Game

PITTSBURGH -- The rosters are set for Saturday's Pitt Football Blue-Gold Spring Game presented by PNC at Heinz Field after the Panthers held the annual team draft on Thursday at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex.
Led by offensive coordinator Mark Whipple, the Blue team selected seniors Saleem Brightwell and Tre Tipton to captain the squad for the draft. The Gold team, headed by safeties coach Cory Sanders, chose seniors Maurice Ffrench and Amir Watts to handle draft duties.
Prior to the afternoon draft, the Panthers held the 13th practice of spring on Thursday morning. Coach Cory Sanders, defensive back Damar Hamlin, defensive end Rashad Weaver, quarterback Davis Beville and offensive lineman Chase Brown each spoke with the media following the workout as Pitt finalizes preparations for Saturday's Blue-Gold Spring Game presented by PNC at Heinz Field.
