PITTSBURGH – University of Pittsburgh student-athletes Sebastian Curtin (track & field/cross country), Krista Collins (gymnastics) and Alexis Solak (softball) have been selected to represent the Panthers at the 2018 NCAA Career in Sports Forum in Indianapolis at the NCAA national office.
Curtin, Collins and Solak will attend the event Thursday, May 31 through Sunday, June 3. The Career in Sports Forum is an annual educational forum hosted by the NCAA, which brings together student-athletes to learn and explore potential careers in sports, with the primary focus on college athletics. The four-day event will help the student-athletes chart their career paths, as well as provide a way to network and learn from current professionals in athletics.
Participants will learn how their personal values intersect with career opportunities, the role of coaches and administrators in the world of athletics and key career development information to help their transition into the professional world.
Solak, Curtin and Collins are three out of 200 student-athletes from the 1,100 NCAA member institutions invited to participate in the forum.
