McConnell-Serio, Stallings to Host Coaches vs. Cancer Tip-Off Madness

PITTSBURGH – In support of the American Cancer Society, University of Pittsburgh basketball coaches Suzie McConnell-Serio and Kevin Stallings will serve as hosts for Coaches vs. Cancer Tip-Off Madness at Heinz Field Tuesday, Sept. 20, from 7-10 p.m.
Guests of the event will mingle with Pitt’s NCAA Division I Basketball coaches during a cocktail reception pep rally to tip-off the basketball season.
The Coaches vs. Cancer program is a nationwide collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches. The initiative leverages the personal experiences, community leadership and professional excellence of coaches nationwide to increase cancer awareness, promote healthy living and to save more lives.
