MOON, Pa. - The Pitt men's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to Robert Morris Tuesday evening at the North Athletic Complex.
The Panthers fall to 1-3-1 overall, while the Colonials improve to 2-3-0 on the year.
The first goal from Robert Morris came in the 34th minute off the foot of Jake Cooper. Cooper received a ball from Keane McIvor and fired away from 18 yards out.
McIvor dished another ball in the 56th minute to Zac Sherman on the left side over Pitt defenders. Allowing one bounce, Sherman chipped the ball over Outcalt bringing the score to 2-0.
The Panthers finished the match with a 12-9 advantage in shots. Redshirt freshman goalkeeper Mikal Outcalt made four saves in the match.
Pitt travels to Chapel Hill, N.C., Friday, Sept. 16, to take on ACC foe North Carolina at 7:30 p.m.
