Pitt Hosts Fall Olympic Sports Media Day

PITTSBURGH - The University of Pittsburgh hosted its Fall Olympic Sports Media Day Monday afternoon at the Petersen Events Center. Athletic Director Scott Barnes opened the day with a question and answer session before local media met with coaches and student-athletes from the cross country, men's soccer, women's soccer and volleyball programs.
The start of the fall season is just around the corner as women's soccer plays at Michigan Aug. 19 in the first regular season contest of the fall. Volleyball opens its campaign Aug. 26-27 at the Kennesaw State Invitational, while men's soccer begins its season Aug. 26 against Detroit.
