PITTSBURGH -- Junior Ryan Luther continues to be an impact player for the Panthers as he establishes himself as one of the top sixth-men in the ACC. The Gibsonia. Pa., native enters Wednesday night's contest against Omaha averaging 7.6 points and 4.8 rebounds per game, while shooting a team-high 59.2 percent from the field.
PatherVision's Casey Garrow caught up with Luther recently to talk about his most recent performance - a career-high 20-point, seven-rebound and four-assist outing in an 83-73 win over Rice.
Luther went 8-of-8 from the field against the Owls to record the fourth 20+ point game with 100 percent scoring efficiency in program history.
Pitt, 9-2 on the year, hosts Omaha Wednesday, Dec. 21 and Marshall Wednesday, Dec. 28 before opening ACC play with a home tilt versus Notre Dame on New Year's Day.
