*Pitt won its 19th game on the year. It needs just one more victory to reach 20 wins for the 22nd time in school history. It would also mark the 14th consecutive season that Pitt would register 20 or more victories.
*Pitt swept Boston College in a two-game series. The Panthers also registered a 61-60 overtime win over BC on Jan. 6 at the Conte Forum.
*Pitt defeated Boston College for the ninth consecutive game and sixth straight time in Pittsburgh. Pitt improved to 32-17 all-time vs. Boston College and 14-5 vs. BC in Pittsburgh.

*Jamel Artis registered his eighth career 20-point game with 24 points (7-13 FG and 9-11 FT). It marked his seventh 20-point game in his last 13 contests played. He has registered double figure scoring in 13 straight games and in 20 games on the year and 22nd time in his career.
*Michael Young finished with 22 points on 5-8 field goal shooting and 12-15 free throw shooting. Young tallied his third career 20-point game. He has now scored in double figures in 18 of his last 21 games played and reached double figures in 23 games on the year and 28 career contests.

*Boston College’s Olivier Hanlon finished with a game-high 39 points on 10-20 shooting, 5-12 3-point shooting and 14-14 free throws. His 39 points were two points shy of the Petersen Events Center scoring record (41 by NC State’s T.J. Warren on March 3, 2014). His perfect 14-14 free throw night set a new Petersen Events Center free throw percentage record (1.000, 14-14) and free throws made record (14). His 14-14 and perfect 1.000 free throw percentage tied for the third best mark for an individual opponent in Pitt school history and his 39 points tied for the 12th most points scored for an opponent in school history.
