Notable Nuggets
• The Panthers' 57 points in the first half ties the most points scored in a half under head coach Jamie Dixon … Pitt also scored 57 points in the first half against VMI on Dec. 6, 2011 at the Petersen Events Center.
• Pitt outscored the Dukes 17-2 in the opening 5:37 of play.
• The Panthers' shot 67.9 percent (19-of-28) and registered 15 assists on 19 field goals in the first half.
• Pitt shot over 50.0 percent from the field for the third time this season …the Panthers are now 131-5 under Dixon when shooting 50.0 percent or better from the field.
