Jamie Dixon Radio Show Begins Thursday Evening

PITTSBURGH – The Jamie Dixon Radio Show presented by PNC Bank and #1 Cochran Automotive, featuring head coach Jamie Dixon and hosted by “Voice of the Panthers” Bill Hillgrove, begins its 13th season Thursday, Nov. 5. The one-hour show broadcasts live from 6-7 pm on 93.7 The Fan (KDKA – FM) and other affiliates of the Pitt IMG Sports Network.
Show dates are set for Nov. 5, Nov. 19, Dec. 3, Jan. 7, Jan. 21, Jan. 28, Feb. 4, Feb. 18, Feb. 25 and March 7 with possible additional shows to be announced at a later date.
Dixon, set to begin his 13th season directing the Panthers, has a career record of 307-111 with the 307 wins ranking fourth in NCAA history for victories through 12 seasons. He has guided Pitt to 12 postseason appearances, including 10 NCAA Tournament bids.
The Panthers conclude exhibition play Friday, Nov. 6 at the Petersen Events Center against Gannon. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. with tickets currently on sale at pittsburghpanthers.com.
Pitt opens the regular season in Okinawa, Japan against No. 9 Gonzaga in the Armed Forces Classic Friday, Nov. 13 (7 pm – ESPN). The Panthers trip to Okinawa with cover approximately 8,325 air miles as the team will travel from Pittsburgh to San Francisco to Tokyo before arriving in Okinawa.
