•Pitt won its sixth consecutive game, improved to 7-0 at the Petersen Events Center and improved to 10-3 on the year with this evening's 71-54 win over Florida Gulf Coast. Pitt begins ACC play on Saturday, Jan. 3 at North Carolina State (noon ET tipoff).
•Pitt registered its 200th all-time victory in the Petersen Events Center. With the win, Pitt improves to 200-27 all-time in the Petersen Events Center. It improves to 59-2 in December games played in the Petersen Events Center.
•Pitt won its 10th non-conference game of the year and is now 10-3 on the year. The Panthers have now registered 10 or more non-conference victories in 14 consecutive seasons. Pitt has one more non-conference game remaining on the schedule: vs. Bryant on Feb. 2.
•Pitt won its 30th consecutive game against a non-conference opponent at home. The 30 consecutive home non-conference wins rank as the second longest streak of its kind in Petersen Events Center history. The record is 58 consecutive non-conference home wins set from Nov. 19, 2005-Nov. 16, 2011.
•Pitt improves to 117-3 all-time vs. non-conference opponents in the Petersen Events Center. Pitt has also won 138 of their last 142 home games against regular season non-conference opponents at home.
•Pitt's attendance of 10,249 marked its largest crowd this season in seven games at the Petersen Events Center. Through seven home games, Pitt is averaging 9,099 fans.
•Jamie Dixon improved to 298-99 all-time as a head coach in his 12th year at Pitt. He needs just two more wins to reach the 300-win plateau. Dixon improved to 142-15 overall vs. non-conference foes.
•Michael Young led Pitt in scoring for the sixth time this season with 16 points on 7-9 field goals. It marked his fifth consecutive double figure scoring game, 15th of his career and 10th of the year.
•Cameron Wright scored a season-high 15 points on the evening. He has registered double figures in three of the last four games. It marked his 27th double figure scoring game of his career and third of the season. Pitt is a perfect 6-0 with Wright playing.
•With his 12 points, James Robinson reached double figures for the sixth time this year and 23rd time in his career.
•Pitt improved to 1-0 all-time in its first basketball meeting against Florida Gulf Coast.
