PITTSBURGH-- The Pitt Panthers will conclude spring drills with the annual Spring Football Festival and Blue-Gold Scrimmage presented by Chevrolet this Saturday, April 14, at North Hills' Martorelli Stadium.
Admission is free and includes the following activities:
Stadium gates will open at 11 a.m.
Paul Chryst is in his first year as Pitt's head coach following an exceptional eight-year tenure at the University of Wisconsin (2002, 2005-11), where he gained acclaim as one of the country's finest offensive teachers and strategists. He was a finalist for the prestigious Broyles Award, annually presented to college football's top assistant, each of the past two seasons.
Pitt, which played in the BBVA Compass Bowl last year, returns 14 starters in 2012.
