Three Panthers Finish in the Top Eight

PRINCETON, N.J.--Three Panthers placed in the finals, as the University of Pittsburgh men's track and field team competed in the 2010 IC4A Championships, held at Weaver Stadium on Princeton's campus, this weekend.
After placing eighth in the prelims on Saturday, freshman Tashaun Hill improved to seventh in the finals of the 110M hurdles with a time of 14.43.
Later, sophomore Jermaine Lowery placed eighth overall in the 400M hurdles with a time of 53.73.
In the triple jump, sophomore Folarin Ijelu turned in a sixth-place performance with a leap of 15.02.
Also competing today, junior Garrett Larkin finished 14th overall in the shot put.
The Panthers now await invitations to the NCAA Regionals.
