Hill and Lowery Advance to the Finals

PRINCETON, N.J.--Two Panthers qualified for the finals, as the University of Pittsburgh men's track and field team competed in the first full day of the 2010 IC4A Championships, held at Weaver Stadium on Princeton's campus.
Freshman Tashaun Hill earned the final seed in the 110M hurdles finals with a time of 14.27, placing eighth overall in the prelims.
Later, sophomore Jermaine Lowery placed second in his heat of the 400M hurdles, and placed seventh overall in the prelims. He qualified for the finals with a time of 52.26.
Also competing today, freshman Kevin Hull and junior Teddy Miller placed in the top 25 of the 800M and 10,000M run, respectively.
Action at Weaver Stadium resumes at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 16, with the javelin.
