PITTSBURGH - *Captains for the game were #77 LT Jason Pinkston, #97 DE Jabaal Sheard and #31 SS Dom DeCicco.
*Redshirt freshman receiver Devin Street tallied the second touchdown of his career when he caught an 8-yard pass from QB Tino Sunseri in the back of the end zone with 2:33 remaining in the first quarter. The touchdown capped an eight-play, 59-yard drive that took 4:01 off the clock. Street also caught a career-high five receptions.
*Redshirt sophomore QB Tino Sunseri finished the game with career-highs for completions (28) and pass attempts (46). He also added a career-high 38 yards rushing on five carries. His previous high for rushing yards was 23 yards vs. Louisville on Oct. 30, 2010.
*Redshirt junior DT Chas Alecxih registered eight tackles and 2.0 sacks, giving him 6.5 sacks on the season.
*Junior Jon Baldwin's 48-yard catch in the third quarter marked his 21st career reception of 40 or more yards. Baldwin now has eight catches of 40 or more yards this year, matching his total for last season.
*Redshirt senior Dan Hutchins' 42-yard field goal in the third quarter tied a season-long. He also converted a 42-yard field goal in Pitt's win vs. Louisville on Oct. 30, 2010.
