PITTSBURGH -
• Game captains for Pitt are #59 LS Mark Estermyer, #50 NT Rashaad Duncan and #30 FB Conredge Collins.
• Pitt is now 26-3 all-time versus the Mid-American Conference. The Panthers are 25-1 against MAC schools in Pittsburgh.
• LB Greg Williams made the first start of his career, replacing an injured Adam Gunn.
• DL Tommie Duhart’s blocked field goal in the first quarter was the second of his career. His first came last season at Michigan State.
• PK Conor Lee has now hit 80 consecutive point after touchdowns. The senior has hit every PAT of his career, dating back to the 2006 season.
• Lee was perfect on the night, hitting three PATs and two field goals of 21 and 42 yards respectively.
• RB LeSean McCoy’s three rushing touchdowns (rushes of 3, 1 and 2 yards respectively) on the night gives him four multiple TD games in his career. McCoy had three games with three TDs last season. Three in one game is his career high.
• WR Derek Kinder is now ranked 12th in career receptions with 104 catches, including three on the night.
• DB Eric Thatcher’s fourth quarter interception is the third of his career and breaks Buffalo quarterback Drew Willy’s record of 284 pass attempts without an interception. That mark was the longest in the country.
