Volovetski Garners All-America Accolades

FEDERAL WAY, Wash.--Junior Alex Volovetski earns All-America honors, as he finishes eighth in the 1M diving event on the first day of the NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championships.
The Big East Most Outstanding Diver this season, Volovetski (Brandon, Fla./Armwood) becomes just the fifth Panther to garner All-America accolades and the third under head coach Chuck Knoles.
Earning his first trip to the NCAA Championships, Volovetski finished third in the prelims with a score of 343.75. He returned in the finals and finished eighth overall with 330.00 points.
Volovetski and teammate Jeremy Stultz (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Hills) will compete on the 3M board this afternoon.
