Pitt-Connecticut Slated for National ESPN Telecast

PITTSBURGH—The bowl-bound Pitt football team's regular-season finale at Connecticut on Saturday, Dec. 6, will be a national ESPN telecast at noon, it has been announced.
The Panthers (8-3, 4-2 Big East) are coming off a thrilling 19-15 victory over rival West Virginia and will look to enhance their postseason resume with a win at UConn. The Huskies are also bowl eligible with a 7-4 overall record (3-3 Big East).
Pitt has fared exceptionally well on national network games this year. The Panthers are 5-1 in such telecasts in 2008.
