PITT-VILLANOVA POST-GAME NOTES
*Today's game vs. Villanova marked the 101st men's basketball game played at the
*Pitt and Villanova met for the second time this season. Villanova claimed a 64-63 win over Pitt at the Pavilion on January 6, 2008. The game marked Pitt's first without injured starters Levance Fields and Mike Cook.

*As a team, Pitt had a season-high eight blocks. The team's previous best was seven, which occurred twice (at Villanova, 1/6/08; Seton Hall 1/12/08).
*Pitt allowed Villanova just 57 points tonight. The team has limited 17 of its first 21 opponents to 70 points or less in 2007-08. Since Jamie Dixon took over as head coach, Pitt has held 129 of its 156 opponents under 70 points.
