POST-GAME NOTES

*Pitt advances to its sixth Big East Championship Final in the last seven years. Head Coach Jamie Dixon guided his third team to the Big East Championship in four years as head coach at Pitt. Pitt is 1-4 all-time in Big East Championship Finals appearances.

*In the Big East Championship Final, Pitt meets Georgetown on Saturday night at 9 p.m. ET at Madison Square Garden. Pitt and Georgetown meet for the third time this season. The two teams split the season series, each winning the home game in the series.

*With the win, Pitt has now won 15 of its last 20 Big East Championship games since 2001.

*According to school records, the 11-point halftime deficit overcome ranked tied for second among largest halftime deficits overcome to win in school history. Pitt trailed 37-26 at halftime and used a 20-2 run to win the game, 65-59. Pitt's largest-ever halftime comeback to win was at St. Francis (Pa.) on Dec. 5, 1983 when it trailed by 12 points and battled all the way back to register a 14-point win.

*Antonio Graves finished with a career-high 23 points. He also surpassed or tied career-highs for field goals made (7) and 3-point field goals made (4). It was his first-ever 20-point performance at Pitt. Graves hit double figure scoring for the 34^th time in his career and 16^th time this year.

*Graves' 23 points ranked tied for sixth all-time among Pitt's best scoring performances in Big East Championship play.

*With his 13 points, Mike Cook hit double figure scoring for the 19^th time on the year. He also finished with a season-high eight rebounds.

*Pitt improves to 27-6 overall.

*With the win, Pitt improves to 6-3 in Big East Championship Semifinal games. Pitt also improves to 21-23 all-time in Big East Championship games and 2-0 vs. Louisville.

*With the win, Jamie Dixon (103-28) moved into a tie for fourth place on the NCAA Division I all-time best coaching start list after four seasons. Dixon now has 103 victories and is tied with Roy Williams, who accumulated a 103-30 record after four seasons at Kansasr. North Carolina State's Everett Case owns the top spot with a 107-22 record from 1947-50.

*Dixon improved to 7-3 all-time in Big East Championship games.

*Louisville entered the game with a 16-0 record when leading at halftime. Pitt improved to 7-6 on the year when trailing at halftime.

*Pitt held Louisville to 59 points in the contest. For the season, Pitt has limited 15 of its 18 total Big East opponents, 18 of its last 22 opponents and 28 of its 33 total opponents under 70 points. Under Jamie Dixon, Pitt has held opponents to 70 points or less in 109 of his 131 games.
