POST-GAME NOTES
*Sam Young finished with a career-high 21 points. He also surpassed career-highs for field goals made (10), field goals attempted (14). He also set season-highs for rebounds (7) and minutes played (31). It was his first-ever 20-point game and his 20th career double figure scoring game.
*With his 10 points, Ronald Ramon reached double figure scoring for the 30th time in his career.
*Pitt Head Coach Jamie Dixon improved to 97-25 all-time as Pitt's head coach. He needs just three more victories to reach the 100-career victory milestone. If he continues on his current winning pace,

*Pitt won its fifth consecutive road game and fifth straight Big East road game. Pitt is now 7-1 on the road this season and 5-0 on the road in Big East play.
*Pitt improved to 9-1 in the Big East and 21-3 overall. The 9-1 record marks Pitt's all-time best start in Big East regular season play. The Panthers began their 2003-04 season, the first under Jamie Dixon, with an 8-2 record after 10 league games.
