POST-GAME NOTES
*With the loss, Pitt dropped its first Big East road game of the year and fell to 6-1 in league road games this season. Pitt is now 8-2 on the road this season. With one Big East road game remaining (at
*The loss also ended Pitt's school record six-game Big East road winning streak at six games. Previously, Pitt won five straight Big East road contests between Jan. 14-Feb. 17, 1987.
*The six-game overall road win streak ranks tied for second all-time in school history. Pitt won six consecutive road games on five other occasions. The record for most road wins in a row is 11.
*Aaron Gray played in the game despite not practicing all week. Due to a left ankle sprain, Gray did not start for the second consecutive game but played 21 minutes. He finished with 10 points and six rebounds.
*With his 11 points, Ronald Ramon reached double digit scoring for the 32nd time in his career and 13th time on the year. He finished with three 3-point field goals made.
*Sam Young finished the game with a season-high eight rebounds (five offensive). He finished with 11 points, his 11th double figure scoring game of the season and 23rd of his career.
