PITT-HOUSTON BAPTIST POST-GAME NOTES
*Pitt's 59 rebounds set a school record. The previous high was 58 against
*Sam Young 22 points set a new career high. His previous best was 21 last season against
*Freshman DeJuan Blair made his first career start at center for Pitt. Blair became Pitt's first freshman to start on opening day since Ronald Ramon started at guard vs. Howard on Nov. 11, 2004.
