POST-GAME NOTES
*Pitt won its 20th game of the season. The victory gave Pitt a school record 20 wins for a sixth consecutive season. Prior the 2001-02 season, Pitt won 20 or more games in only two consecutive seasons. It is Pitt's 13th 20-victory season.
*Pitt Head Coach Jamie Dixon became the first head coach in Pitt history to win 20-plus games in four consecutive seasons.
*Levance Fields finished with 20 points. It was his second 20-plus point performance of the season and his career. He has now reached double figures in two of his last three games played.
*With his 13 points, Antonio Graves reached double figure scoring for the 13th time this season and 31st time in his career. He also finished with a career-high tying seven assists.
*Keith Benjamin finished the game with nine key points on 3-5 3-point shooting. The three 3-point field goals tied a career-high. Benjamin also hit three 3-pointers vs.
*With his 14 points and 10 rebounds, Aaron Gray registered his 11th double-double of the season and 29th double-double of his career.
*Pitt won its fourth consecutive road game and fourth straight Big East road game. Pitt is now 6-1 on the road this season.
*Pitt improved to 8-1 in the Big East and 20-3 overall. The 8-1 record matches Pitt's all-time best start in Big East regular season play. The Panthers also began their 2003-04 season, the first under Jamie Dixon, with an 8-1 record. Pitt has never begun a Big East regular season with a 9-1 record.
*Pitt has now won three consecutive games and 10 of its last 11 games.
*Pitt scored just 23 points in the first half. The 23 points marked Pitt's lowest scoring output for a half this season.
*Pitt entered the game ranked No. 7 in both the Associated Press and ESPN/USA Today coaches poll.
*Pitt limited its 20th opponent to less than 70 points on the year. Pitt has also yielded 70 or fewer points to eight of its nine Big East opponents and 10 of its last 11 opponents. Since Jamie Dixon became head coach in 2003-04, Pitt has held 101 of his 121 opponents under 70 points.
*Pitt improved to 26-29 all-time vs. Villanova. The Panthers won their second straight game against Villanova and improved to 6-15 in games played in
