POST-GAME NOTES

*Pitt improved to 16-2 overall and 4-0 in Big East play. The Panthers begin a Big East regular season at 4-0 for the fourth time in the last six years.

*Mike Cook scored a season-high 18 points on the evening. He reached double figure scoring for the 12^th time in 18 games.

*With his 11 points, Antonio Graves reached double figures in 11 of 18 games on the year. He also has hit double figures in 29 career games.

*With his 10 points, Ronald Ramon registered double figures for the seventh time in 18 games this year.

*Pitt won its sixth consecutive game and 11^th consecutive home game.

*Georgetown finished with a Petersen Events Center opponent record 60.9 percent field goal percentage. It was the first time Pitt allowed a team to hit over 50 percent from the floor in 68 games. The last time a team shot over 50 percent vs. Pitt was Bucknell on January 2, 2005.

*Pitt won its 11^th consecutive home game and improved to 11-0 at home this year. The 11-game win streak ranks tied for seventh among all-time best win streaks in Pitt basketball history.

*The win improves Pitt to 75-6 all-time in the Petersen Events Center and 29-5 against Big East opponents.

*The four consecutive Big East wins ranks tied for sixth among Pitt's all-time longest Big East regular season win streaks. The school record is 12 wins from Feb. 2, 2002-Jan. 25, 2003.

*Pitt had 22 assists on 28 field goals (79%) and 22 assists to only seven turnovers. Pitt entered the game ranked No. 1 nationally in assist:turnover ratio.

*Pitt snapped Georgetown's two-game win streak in the series. It improved to 30-37 overall vs. Georgetown and 20-15 in games played in Pittsburgh.

*Pitt grabbed only 23 rebounds on the day. That marked the lowest rebounding total for Pitt this season.
