Men's Basketball Ticket Applications Due Friday, September 8, 2006
9/1/2006 12:00:00 AM | Men's Basketball
Annual gifts to the Panther Club Athletic Scholarship Fund given to the Panther Club between July 1, 2005 and June 30, 2006 determine eligibility for men's basketball season ticket purchase opportunities for the 2006-07 season.
Season Ticket Applications
This month, season ticket applications were mailed to Panther Club members who joined or renewed their membership at the Victory level ($300+) and above during the 2005-06 fiscal year (July 1-June 30). Each Victory level and above member was sent a ticket application, regardless of whether he/she held season tickets at the Petersen Events Center in the previous season.
Club, Loge, VIP Front Row Courtside, Suite and Supersuite season ticket holders, along with anyone included in the settlement, who met specified giving requirements, should have received the opportunity to purchase the same seats as last season. All other donors are receiving an application noting the number of season tickets he/she qualifies to purchase. (Please refer to the attached benefits chart.) Your Panther Club ranking is provided on the application, and you have the opportunity to request the maximum number of tickets for which you are eligible, based on your membership/benefits level. It is important to return your application by the specified deadline - Friday, September 8 - as any seats that have not been purchased at that time will be offered to the next eligible group of aspiring season ticket holders. All ticket sales are based on availability.
Should tickets remain available after all Victory level members and above have an opportunity to purchase them, Panther level ($100-$299) Panther Club members will be mailed applications, next. Then, season ticket holders from 2005-06 who did not join the Panther Club will have the opportunity to purchase tickets, if available. New Panther Club members who contributed after the June 30, 2006 deadline will have the opportunity to purchase tickets only after all active Panther Club members (as of that date) have been afforded the opportunity to purchase season tickets.
Seat Locations
There are several options on the applications for general seating areas: 1. Requesting that your seat location stay the same as the previous year, if your rank qualifies; 2. Requesting that you improve your seat location, if your rank qualifies; and 3. A section for special notes (i.e., specific accommodations for health reasons, etc.), and an opportunity for you to include an attachment detailing any special requests. The Panther Club and Panthers Ticket Office will determine your seats based on your priority points total and ranking within the Panther Club (as of June 30, 2006).
Seat locations for individuals in the general seating areas will be provided when season tickets are mailed. These locations will be determined by the Athletic Department based on your priority points total/Panther Club ranking as of June 30, 2006. The Department is operating on the understanding that all lower bowl sections are better than upper bowl sections, and that closer to center court is the preferred seat in both the lower and upper bowls.
Sit With A Friend or Group of Friends
If you want to sit with another Panther Club member who also qualifies to purchase season tickets, here is what you need to do: 1. Write on your ticket application who that Panther Club member is, including his/her customer number; 2. Have your friend write your name on his/her application, including your customer number; and 3. Return the applications together in the same envelope to the Panthers Ticket Office with payment. Please remember that an average of your June 30, 2006 ranking will be used for seating purposes. For example, if Joan Panther has a ranking of 750 and John Smith has a ranking of 250, both Joan AND John's seats will be located with an average rank of 500. (If you want to sit with more than one person, the same approach still applies; just be sure all names and customer numbers of all parties are included on the applications and that they are mailed together. The average rank of the group will determine the seat location.)
Season Ticket Pricing...And Parking Information
Season ticket pricing, along with parking information for those who qualify, is detailed on the men's basketball season ticket application. Locations of parking passes will be determined based on your Panther Club ranking as of June 30, 2006.
