PITT VS. BRADLEY POST-GAME NOTES
*The loss concludes Pitt's season at 25-8 overall. The 25 victories rank tied for fourth among Pitt's all-time winningest seasons. Pitt's school record for wins is 31 set in 2003-04.
*Levance Fields surpassed career-highs for points (18) and minutes played (35). He tied career-highs for field goals made (6) and 3-point field goals made (3).
*Doyle Hudson pulled down a career-high tying four rebounds in the contest.
*Carl Krauser, John DeGroat, Charles Small and Marcus Bowman played their final game at Pitt. Krauser concludes his career with a 104-27 overall record (.794 percentage).
*Carl Krauser concluded his career ranked among school leaders in several categories: ninth in scoring (1,642 points), fourth in assists (568), sixth in 3-point field goals made (190), fifth in 3-point field goal attempts (517), sixth in free throws made (444), sixth in free throw attempts (592), eighth in steals (190) and sixth in minutes (3,837). Krauser also concluded his career with 81 career double figure scoring games.
*Krauser played in his ninth career NCAA Tournament game. He set school NCAA Tournament career records for points scored (125) and 3-point field goals attempted (38). Krauser broke the scoring record held by Julius Page (108 points from 2002-04).
*Aaron Gray concluded the season with a 13.9 points per game and 10.5 rebounds per game average. He becomes the first player to average a double-double at Pitt since
*Carl Krauser became just the second player in school history to average more than 10.0 points, 4.0 assists and 4.0 rebounds in two seasons at Pitt. Krauser finished the 2005-06 season with averages of 15.0 points, 4.8 assists and 4.3 rebounds per game.
*Head Coach Jamie Dixon concludes his third season at Pitt with a 76-22 overall record (.776 winning percentage). His 76 wins rank tied for fourth for most wins for a head coach after three seasons: 1. Mark Few, Gonzaga (2000-02), 81 wins; 2. Everett Case,
*Pitt made its 18th NCAA Tournament appearance. It is now 15-19 all-time in 34 total NCAA Tournament games.
*Pitt dropped to 1-6 all-time in games vs. Bradley.
*Pitt finishes its season at 7-7 vs. NCAA Tournament teams this year.
*Pitt played in its fifth straight NCAA Tournament. It is one of only 15 schools nationwide to advance to the NCAA Tournament in each of the last five seasons. Those 15 schools include:
*Pitt Head Coach Jamie Dixon became just the second coach in school history to guide Pitt to three straight NCAA Tournaments. Paul Evans, who guided Pitt to berths in 1987, 1988 and 1989, is the other coach.
*Carl Krauser became just the third player in school history to play in four straight NCAA Tournaments. Chevon Troutman and Mark McCarroll were the first two players to achieve that distinction in 2005.
