GAME NOTES

*Pitt played its fifth nationally ranked team on the year and fell to 3-2 in those contests.

*Georgetown was Pitt's second consecutive nationally ranked opponent. The Panthers will play their third on Thursday at home vs. No. 11 West Virginia.

*Pitt lost for the second consecutive game. The last time Pitt lost two straight was last year between March 10-March 17, 2005.

*Aaron Gray notched his third straight double-double and 12^th double-double of the season with 15 points and a game-high 11 rebounds. It is the third time this year that Gray has registered consecutive double-doubles. Gray has now reached double figures in scoring in 16 of 20 games and double figure rebounding in 14 of 20 contests on the year.

*With his 11 points, Ronald Ramon has hit double figures in four of Pitt's last six games.

*Pitt outrebounded Georgetown 35-23. It was the first time Pitt dropped a game after outrebounding its opponent. Pitt is now 14-1 when it outrebounds its opponent.

*Georgetown snapped Pitt's four-game win streak in games played in Washington, D.C. Pitt drops to 29-37 overall in the series.

*Pitt dropped its third straight road game. Pitt is now 4-3 on the road this season.
