POST-GAME NOTES
*Pitt announced the First Commonwealth Colonial Athletic Association Basketball All-Classic team:
Most Valuable Player: Aaron Gray, Pitt
All-Classic Team: Antonio Graves, Pitt; James Life, UMass; Stephane Lasme, UMass; Shawn Hopes, Oakland; Bennet Davis, Northeastern.
*Pitt played its third First Commonwealth Colonial Athletic Association Basketball Classic contest, defeating
*Aaron Gray finished with his third double-double in Pitt's first five games of the season. It also marked his 21st career double-double. He scored 23 points on 10-14 shooting and pulled down 13 rebounds in 34 minutes of action.
*Pitt is off to its seventh consecutive 5-0 start to a season dating back to the 2000-01 campaign.
*The win improves Pitt to 68-6 all-time in the
*Pitt has won 62 of its last 63 home games against regular season non-conference opponents.
*Pitt won its 16th consecutive non-conference game dating back to the 2004-05 season. It finished 11-0 vs. non-conference opponents last season.
