DEPAUL VS. PITT POST-GAME NOTES
*With its 13-0 record, Pitt is one of three undefeated teams in NCAA Division I college basketball. Duke and
*Pitt's 13 victories to begin its season rank as the fourth best start in school history. Pitt went 21-0 to start the 1927-28 season, 18-0 in 2003-04 and 15-0 in 1915-16.
*Pitt's 13 consecutive wins ranks tied for sixth among the school's all-time win streaks. The school record is 22 wins from Dec. 4, 1973-Feb. 20, 1974.
*Pitt won its 11th straight home game. The 11-game home win streak ranks tied for sixth among the school's all-time longest home win streaks.
*Pitt trailed by its largest deficit of the season--13 points (21-8)--in the first half. The largest previous deficit was eight points at
*With his 20 points and 12 rebounds, Aaron Gray registered his Big East leading eighth double-double of the season. He also had a career-high five blocks. Gray also finished with his 10th double figure scoring game of the year and ninth double figure rebounding game. It was Gray's third career 20-plus scoring contest.
*Carl Krauser has now reached double figures in scoring in 10 consecutive games. He has scored 10-plus points in 12 of 13 games this year.
*Sam Young reached double figure scoring for the fourth straight game. He scored 10 points tonight vs. DePaul.
