BROADCAST INFORMATION

TELEVISION: The Pitt-Connecticut game will be televised by ESPN Regional and aired locally on WTAE-TV, channel 4. Dave Sims (play-by-play) and former Pitt quarterback John Congemi (color) form the broadcast crew.

PITT RADIO: FM NewsTalk 104.7 (WPGB-FM), Fox Sports Radio 970 (WBGG-AM) and the Pittsburgh ISP Sports Network. Bill Hillgrove calls the action, three-time Pitt All-American Bill Fralic provides color analysis and former Pitt offensive lineman Penny Semaia gives sideline reports.

PITT-UCONN IN BRIEF

Pitt looks to keep its postseason hopes alive with a victory over Connecticut. The Panthers have won three of their last four games to remain in contention for a bowl.

This is only the second meeting ever between Pitt and Connecticut. The Huskies won last year's encounter, 29-17, at Rentschler Field.

The Connecticut contest will mark the Panthers' final home game of the year. Pitt will honor 18 seniors who will be making their final appearance at Heinz Field.

The Panthers have won 21 of their last 29 Big East games (.724), dating back to a 33-7 victory over Temple on Oct. 27, 2001.
