Panthers Announce "Touchdown For Kids" Program
8/27/2003
PITTSBURGH?In an effort to help area youth see the Pittsburgh Panthers at Heinz Field, the University of Pittsburgh will introduce ticket holders to ?Touchdown for Kids? and the Tickets for Kids Foundation for the 2003 season..
The ?Touchdown for Kids? program gives Panthers season-ticket holders the opportunity to use future game tickets to benefit kids who may otherwise never get the chance to attend a football game at Heinz Field. In exchange for tickets, the contributor gets the satisfaction that comes from helping those less fortunate as well as a tax deductible receipt for the donation.
The process is simple. Ticket holders simply mail the tickets they will not use (including name, phone number and mailing address in order to receive credit for the donation) t Tickets for Kids, Pittsburgh Panthers Football, 139 Freeport Road, Suite 100, Pittsburgh, PA, 15215.
?We are pleased and proud to work with the University of Pittsburgh to reach thousands of children who wouldn?t be able to attend a Panthers football game without the generosity of the Panthers fans,? said Tickets for Kids program director Vera Morelli.
