Walt Harris Quotes
On what the scrimmage will do for the lineup:
?Yes, it will definitely help with the depth chart.?
On offensive lineman Matt Morgan:
?He?s graduated. He?s fought through a tremendous amount of pain with hips, fingers and surgeries. I don?t think he?s ever been healthy since his redshirt freshman year, when he didn?t even play that often. So we?re looking forward to Matt finishing his college career on a high note.?
On tight end Kris Wilson:
?He?s had a rough camp. He?s been hurt and when you aren?t practicing you aren?t as sharp as you should be. He?s a really good football player for us, but unfortunately he hasn?t been practicing for us and he needs to practice like the rest of the team.?
On the kickers? practicing time:
?Yes, they go down to Heinz field two times a week and then once a week once the season starts.?
On the Heinz Field grass:
?Yes, I?ve heard some glowing reports about it and I?m very excited for both the Steelers and the Panthers. I?m excited because that will help both of us. We?re so appreciative for the opportunity to play down there. When game day comes it?s the

And of course he has his own experience and he can call on his own playing days and the drills he learned when he was a player. I?m sure every coach would love to coach the position they played, but I know Coach Bray wants to expand his horizons and become more valuable and a better football coach. He did a great job with coaching defensive ends and now he?s doing it with the linebackers. He was a Denver Bronco minority coach this summer and he spent some time with the coach there, which I?m sure was very helpful. It was a great program for him.?
On running back Brandon Miree:
?I?m very impressed with
On linebacker Brian Bennett:
?I think he?s smart. He plays hard and he?s quick. I think he?s extremely coachable and works hard on trying to execute and get in on the defensive scheme. It definitely makes up for him not being the ideal size. His speed is great for that position.?
