Pittsburgh Falls To Rutgers, 84-64

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (AP) - Todd Billet had 26 points and 11 assists to lead Rutgers to a 84-64 victory over Pittsburgh on Sunday.
Jeff Greer added 23 points for Rutgers (10-11, 2-8 Big East) and combined with his brother Ricardo to become the all-time scoring leaders among brother tandems in Big East games.
Pittsburgh (12-11, 4-8) surrendered the most points scored by Rutgers this season in its fourth straight loss.
With Rutgers holding a 52-48 lead, Billet hit a jumper and a 3-pointer that started a 10-4 run and gave Rutgers a 64-52 lead with 7:13 remaining.
Billet added another 3-pointer and two foul shots in the run.
The Panthers got no closer than 8 the remainder of the game.
Brandin Knight led Pittsburgh with 19 points, while Ricardo Greer had 16.
