Delker's triple in the third drove in Mannick and sophomore pitcher Laura LeViere (Pittsburgh, Pa./Northgate) for Pittsburgh's only two runs of the game.
In the final game of their series with Robert Morris, the Panthers closed the day with a 12-4 loss.
The Panthers opened the scoring when LeViere crossed the plate on Delker's single in the first inning. Pittsburgh took a 4-1 lead in the third when junior Heather Chelkis (Irwin, Pa./Penn Trafford) hit a home run, the Panthers' first of their inagural season. Delker and Brittany Yoder (Philipsburg, Pa./Philipsburg-Osceola) added two more runs in the inning. The Panthers lost their only lead of the game when Robert Morris rallied in the bottom of the inning to score eight unanswered runs and three more in the remaining two innings for the 12-4 win.
