LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Larry Florence had 18 points and Danny Walker scored 14 Saturday as Nebraska beat Pittsburgh 69-57.
Steffon Bradford scored 12 points and reserve center Louis Truscott pulled down 11 rebounds for the Cornhuskers (4-4).
Senior guard Cookie Belcher, who is recovering from wrist surgery and is expected to redshirt this season, had 10 assists and pulled down nine rebounds while playing with a taped-up right wrist. Belcher, who scored two points, has played in four games for the Huskers and can play in two more before filing to redshirt.
Jarrett Lockhart led Pittsburgh (5-2) with 17 points. Ricardo Greer and Derrick Worrell each scored 10 for the Panthers.
With the score tied at 44, Florence took an alley-oop pass from Belcher and dunked it to put the Huskers up for good. Belcher then fed Truscott for another dunk, then made a steal and passed to Florence who put Nebraska up 50-46.
The right-handed Belcher, who is limited to playing mostly with his left hand, scored on a layup with 3:38 lead to give Nebraska a 57-48 lead.
