A part of the 12-acre Peterson Sports Complex, which opened in March of 2011, Charles L. Cost Field serves as home of the Pitt baseball program. The facility includes a press box, team dugouts in addition to hitting and pitching practice areas. A synthetic grass playing surface allows the Panthers to play and practice throughout the year and permanent lighting allows for evening games. The latest additions to the venue are a state-of-the art video board behind the center field wall (2019) and new Astro Turf surface (2020).
